MWD System is designed to provide monitoring of wellbore deviation with/without direction. It provides an intermediate solution between time consuming and inaccurate wireline survey tools and expensive steerable MWD systems.
Negative Pulse Transmission: Simplicity and reliability of this transmitter in on of the major advantage of this system. The fixed mount transmitter has few moving parts and is particularly reliable in high flow conditions experienced in surface-hole environments. The system has been field proven globally in severe drilling environments where other systems have proven less reliable.
Positive Pulse Transmission: The top mounted Positive Pulser is run with surface and downhole tool string. This is currently offered as a fixed mount system. A retrievable system option is planned for the future.
Gamma Ray: The Gamma Ray Logging system consists of simple upgrade modules for both the downhole and surface systems.
The downhole gamma tool is attached to the standard directional tool string below the Survey Electronic Assembly.
GR system can sustain Environmental Correction with high accuracy.
